Sir Yuengling (Chris)
Chris was born and raised in Jamestown, NY until he was 20, at which time he joined the US Navy to become a nuclear reactor operator on a submarine. After 6 years of service, he went to The University of British Columbia in Vancouver to get his degree in Economics. Then after a year in Korea as Head Teacher of an English institution, he returned to the US to find work. Now he is a flow cytometry field service tech, fixing broken cell analyzers. It keeps him very busy, but he still makes time for festing.
Chris's armor is made of Yuengling, a beer from the oldest brewery in America. It comes from Pottsville, PA and is only distributed on the east coast, from NY to FL (but not GA). His sword, Excalibeer, is over 5' tall and usually needs to rest on the ground or over his shoulder.

The Black Knight (Patrick)
Patrick is from Pittsburgh, PA and is the co-founder of The Beer Knights. He showed a lot of faith by taking time off work to further the cause of the Order. In early 2008, his wife had a baby and he has been focusing all his energy on his family. We wish him all the best and hope that he returns to festing soon!
Patrick wears Guinness, the Irish stout that drinks like a meal. His oversize sword was the inspiration for Chris's blade, Excalibeer. His shield was actually a graphic printed on several sheets of paper and then expertly fitted together to look seamless, as you can see.

The HeineKnight (Josh)
Josh was born and raised in Jamestown, NY and has known Chris since they were in high school. Josh joined the US Army after graduation and was stationed in Colorado, Germany, and California during his nine years. He got out in 2004 and is now living in Frewsburg, NY with his damsel, Nikki, and a cat. He works with high temperature ceramics for such things as kilns and tiles on the outside of the space shuttle.
Josh wears Heineken, a brew originally from Amsterdam. Amazingly, he was able to forge his armor from the stiff corrugated cardboard from bottle boxes. (Normally the thinner packaging from can boxes is used.) His weapon, The HeineHammer, is a mighty icon that represents his Juggernaut-like personality.

The Bud Light Knight (Justin)
Justin is from Rochester, NY and made the trek to The blue Heron Festival in 2007 with his wife Julie. There he met Chris and immediately loved the Beer Knight idea and vowed to make armor of his own. True to his word, he showed up in 2008 with Bud Light armor and a bottle of Captain Morgan Private Stock. Now THAT'S the way to join the Order!
Justin wears Bud Light, a product of Anheuser-Busch. He used The Blue Knight's sword and shield as a template for his armor and it ended up looking pretty damn good! We had to craft a helmet for him on the first day of the Heron, but he wore it so well you'd never know the difference.

Lady Hedonism (Lea)
Lea is from York, PA where she is currently attending classes to become an environmental scientist. In addition to being a Beer Maiden, she also spins fire, fences, rock climbs, skis, snowboards, and plays the violin. She loves to attend Burn events, hashes, and any other outdoor activities. She has a faithful hound named Gooby.
Lea's corset and crown are made of Hedonism Red Ale, a microbrew from Reading, PA but is bottled by Yuengling. She put forth untold effort to get it ready for her first fest as a Beer Maiden and even did a lot of work at the campsite! Her skirt is her own design as well and was made from scratch for her role as Lady Hedonism.

The Lager Knight (Delano)
Delano happened across TheBeerKnights.com while looking for ways to make beer armor for an event. He was talking about it with his friend, Lady Caroline, who by pure unadulterated luck, knew Sir Yuengling! The Universe works in mysterious ways. The Order is looking forward to having a new Knight!
Delano is working with Yuengling cases, like Sir Yuengling. A great beer like this deserves two Knights bearing its logo!

The Dr.Pepper Knight (Lianna)
Lianna is the adorable, 5 year old daughter of The Blue Knight's good friends, Arielle and Damon. She is a very smart little girl who loves flowers, going to festivals, playing in big mud puddles, and insisting that she is NOT a warrior (or, as she says, "wawwiuh"). Her mom said that she was going to make Lianna The A&W Knight, but didn't have any cases. Chris just happened to have a Dr. Pepper case, some scissors, and a little time to kill, so he crafted some armor for her. (Of course she's underage, so we couldn't really make her beer armor. That would just be wrong.) The HeineKnight gave her a little sword during her knighting so she could help us protect the festival. Welcome to the Order, Lianna!
Lianna wears Dr.Pepper, a non-alcoholic soda with a mysterious taste. Her first choice was A&W, but material was limited. Maybe someday she'll upgrade....

The Blue Knight (Chris)
The Blue Knight was slain by a rampaging Burninator in May of 2008. His good works were numerous and inspiring. Without his presence, all peasants and damsels shall live in fear. He will be greatly missed.
The Blue Knight wore LaBatt's Blue beer armor. It was the first armor made by a Beer Knight and the design was so good it carried over to Sir Yuengling's suit. LaBatt's is a Canadian beer that is imported daily and doesn't make it very far south on the East coast.
