It amazes me how many people go to the Blue Heron. So many that when I was driving around on Friday getting supplies, basically everyone I saw in Jamestown and Lakewood was getting ready for the fest. What a freakin' blast! Here are some special thanks for the good people we met at this year's Heron.

The Beer Knights Would Like To Thank :

• Julie and the family for another great year! Keep it going until I die!
• The weather...for being wonderful.
• All of the bands for the great music - Entrain, Big Leg Emma, The Town Pants, Donna The Buffalo, The Avett Brothers, etc, etc, etc.
• Pete at the Potato Pancake place for the potato pancake...delicious!
• Everyone who snapped a pic, held a sword, or recounted a tale of how they saw us two years ago.
• All the poor bastards who had the misfortune of standing behind a drunken Knight, crazily raising his sword in homage, at the stage during Entrain or The Town Pants
• The guy with the keg for paying the King's Tax
